Harrisburg University of Science and Technology will launch its newly redesigned website Thursday.
It’s working with JPL, a southcentral Pennsylvania integrated marketing agency, to develop an intuitive, cutting-edge website that better connects with prospective students, current students, alumni, faculty, staff, businesses, and the community, according to a press release.
Viewers can expect to see a refreshed, responsive website that demonstrates the quality of education available at Harrisburg University by highlighting its tailored, career-focused science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum, the release said. It will do this by showcasing the university’s state-of the-art facilities, individualized approach to learning, partnerships, research, and what it is like to be a part of the school’s community on campus and virtually, according to the release.
“This new website is the culmination of many months and long hours of work from our IT staff and JPL,” said Dr. Eric Darr, Harrisburg University president. “We are confident that it will offer a more engaging and comprehensive presentation of the mission and presence of Harrisburg University. The site will serve as the central hub for our many different audiences and a foundation that can drive future growth.”
From the home page to landing pages, users will find design features that streamline search functions, content, images, and video. It also will provide a much cleaner mobile experience on phones and tablets, the release said.
The website will offer current and prospective students, as well as alumni, a richer insight into the university’s opportunities, academic programs, and history. Profiles for faculty and staff will be available as well, giving the public a personal, in-depth look at educators currently teaching there, according to the release.
The new website URL will be www.HarrisburgU.edu.
